Key Responsibilities
- Play a leadership role in directing, planning, implementing and maintaining a robust and integrated information technology, technology related infrastructure and business solutions that will meet both the current and future operations and business needs.
- Manage the deployment, development, monitoring, maintenance, upgrading and support of organisational IT systems. This includes operating systems, servers, PCs, software apps, telephones and peripherals.
- Manage a robust cybersecurity network to protect and guard against breaches of security of database and IT platforms and infrastructure.
- Develop SOP allied to best practice and ensure users adherence to written protocols and guidelines.
- Ensure written documentation is created and maintained, to include user/system manuals, licence agreements and all documentation relating to modifications and upgrades.
- Coach and manage the team with responsibility of hiring, evaluation, training, guidance, disciplinary procedures and dismissals.
- Keep track of latest technological innovations and advise on how their implementation will meet business and systems requirements.
- Manage outsource vendors to ensure prompt and high quality delivery of projects that meet the operations and business needs.
- Drive innovation projects to successful completion while managing budget for each project as well as managing the financial aspects of the entire IT department such as purchases and ongoing budgeting.
The Candidate
- Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or relevant. 8+ years in a team manager/department head role with good knowledge of healthcare information technology (HIT).
- Demonstrated experience in IT strategy, ERP, architecture & development, IT operations, innovation and security, experience in selecting and implementing the processes, methods and governance appropriate for the business.
- Strong commercial acumen with in-depth understanding of IT strategies, roadmaps and their impact on operations.
- Able to navigate a complex, multi-platform distributed environment and strong understanding of emerging technology trends.
- Possesses a high level of self-confidence with ability to interface and influence senior stakeholders.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills (fluent in English & Cantonese), including ability to present and discuss complex information.
- Ability to pace-set and work as a team with collaboration in a diverse environment.
- People management and talent development experience.
