Key Responsibilities
- Primary responsibilities include planning, implementing, managing and running of all finance & accounting activities including business planning, budgeting, forecasting and negotiations.
- Providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team based on financial analysis and projections as well as revenue/expense analysis.
- Promoting a framework to drive financial acumen and accountability across the organisation, ensuring a strong accounting and operational control environment to safeguard organisation's assets and resources.
- Managing liquidity, treasury and financing requirements, support potential corporate finance activities when they arise.
- Overseeing financial internal controls and coordination of all financial audits.
- Obtaining and maintaining investor relations and partnership compliance.
- Maintaining external relationships with banks, auditors and third party vendors.
- Grooming an efficient and professional team of employees within the Finance & Accounting department.
- Establishing good working relationship with both internal and external customers and shareholders.
- Serve as active member of Executive Committee and attend Board of Director meetings.
The Candidate
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics. An MBA or CPA with a Big 4 background is also highly desirable. Min. 15 years' experience in a financial management role and managing a team. Work experience in a MNC and/or a listed company in Hong Kong preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbally and written. Ability to engage with staff at all levels of the organisation and exercise sound judgement.
- Comfortable navigating within complex business environment and possess a customer service mindset and excellent problem solving capability and analytical skills.
- In-depth knowledge of financial models, cashflow projections, pricing strategies, activity based costing.
- M&A and/or JV projects experience in Hong Kong and China.
