Key Responsibilities

The Senior Manager, Global Travel & Meeting Services is responsible for managing regional travel program service delivery, policy implementation, key regional supplier deals and operational support, within the context of the larger company Global Travel Initiatives. This position will have a direct impact on the financial performance of the business by delivering productivity savings, operational efficiencies, and customer satisfaction in accordance with an annual plan.  The Senior Manager establishes service requirements for regional travel suppliers (travel agency, online self-booking tool, hoteliers, airlines, corporate charge card, etc.).  Additionally, the Senior Manager supports and interacts directly with all management levels at the APAC regional office level and affiliates. 

The Candidate
  • At least 5-10 years relevant business experience in Corporate Travel Industry within one or more multinational companies in APAC
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Travel, Finance, Procurement or Supply Chain
  • English fluency (written and spoken), other Asian languages is an advantage
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills including listening skills and facilitation skills.
  • Execution skills including persistent drive for results utilizing sound project management, organizational and problem solving skills; demonstrates a sense of urgency.
  • Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook. Power Point skills are essential.  Knowledge of travel related tools is a definite.
  • Knowledge of operations management and travel processes in a large organization ; knowledge of effective travel related technology processes and solutions
  • Supplier management experience
  • Able to work both autonomously and to collaborate with other team members
  • Must exhibit strong proficiency in presentation skills
