Key Responsibilities
Our client is a multi-award winning jewellery designer and retailer and currently looking for an enthusiastic, engaging and adaptable Group Training Manager with a strong customer ethos to lead the corporate training team. This role would suit a self-starter, looking for a new adventure to consult and deliver effective learning solutions to empower and enhance the performance across the organisation.
- To tailor design an excellent learning and development service (online and offline), consulting and delivering the right learning solutions to enhance the capability of the team.
- Work with key stakeholders to design, develop and implement best-in-class training contents for varied brand personalities and in response to market trends.
- Lead creation and delivery of training programs, evaluate client experience in retail network and regularly review program effectiveness and implement findings.
- Build strong and meaningful relationships with retail operations managers and engage them in periodic training program reviews and reforms as well as further employee skills/career development initiatives.
- Elevate Trainer’s strengths and weaknesses via one on one coaching with the aim to build a dynamic, cohesive team which delivers consistently to maximise their positive impact on the business.
- Manage and direct programs focusing on sales, service, and customer experience to measure performance.
- Support special events or product focus activities via appropriate and timely training to field teams.
- Conduct retail store visits regularly to mentor, coach and review programs and goals, selling environment opportunities and brainstorm areas for further development.
- Custodian of corporate training guidelines, materials and SOPs, be ready to roll out and cascade Retail Excellence Programs to regional businesses.
The Candidate
- An engaging communicator with excellent facilitation skills.
- Knowledge and previous experience as a Training Manager (or Retail Sales/Operations/Customer Service Manager with training experience) in the retail or luxury retail industry.
- Highly developed presentation skills across a range of training mediums and group sizes.
- Experience of creating Training Programs for varied brand personalities.
- Able to facilitate exceptional training seminars, ensuring maximised participant learning and understanding of content.
- Demonstrable coaching, leadership and communication skills.
- Digital savvy and embraces new learning technology.
- Commercial acumen and understanding of the operational levers which drive success in the organisation.
- Good use of Microsoft applications incl. Excel, Word, Power point.
- University degree and recognised training certifications and qualifications preferred.
- Fluent in English and Cantonese, Mandarin a plus.
