Key Responsibilities
Talent Development and Performance Management
  • Design and implement talent development strategies and programs focused on identifying, motivating, engaging, retaining, and educating a committed and high performing workforce
  • Support performance management processes and share insights for continuous improvement; use dashboard data to help the organisation prioritise training needs 
  • Coordinate and drive performance review processes in cooperation with the HR Business Partners
  • In cooperation with the HR Business Partners, manage the area’s talent management discussions, identifying appropriate succession plans and high potential employees
  • Facilitate effective change management strategies and team building events
  • Stay abreast of new trends and tools in employee development to help the company stay at the leading edge of learning
Leadership Development
  • Support HR Director to develop and implement leadership training programs that enhance the skills of management with a focus on developing future leaders
  • Identify performance/behaviour gaps, make recommendations, and provide solutions in order to improve business performance, increase retention and develop future leaders
  • Support succession planning process by developing communications, coordinating meetings, administering and managing the track tools and associated process flows; partner with HR Business Partners to ensure completion of deliverables
Training
  • Identify training needs and develop strategies to enhance the effectiveness of employee performance 
  • Manage all aspects of the training lifecycle, to include training needs assessments, development of new training programs, marketing of programs, measuring the impact of training ensuring effectiveness and ROI 
  • Identify, negotiate, and manage training vendors ensuring selection of the best possible solutions for the business while managing costs
 
The Candidate
  • Proven ability to establish strategy and to translate it into an effective, long-term action plan
  • Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of broad HR experience, to include Talent Development and Performance Management, Leadership Development and designing / implementing / managing multiple TD&LD projects throughout China
  • Comfortable with a fast pace of change, while ensuring continuity of current activities
  • Strong presentation and communications skills, able to interact effectively across all levels of the organisation
  • Ability and willingness to influence and drive change 
  • Work experience in the retail and/or luxury retail industry a plus
  • Proficiency in all MS Office tools are required
  • Willing and able to travel as required
  • Native Mandarin speaker and fluent in English
