Key Responsibilities
- Set, manage and implement HR&A policies, procedures and processes.
- Develop and nurture a workplace culture that focuses on service excellence and an environment that encourages creativity, efficiency, safety and teamwork in operations.
- Recruit core HR and Admin team members, assign and monitor day-to-day activities and operations.
- Facilities and workplace arrangement and management, ensure that the workplace is safe, hospitable and organised for efficient and effective workflow.
- Lead key HR activities for client groups, including and not limited to recruitment, salary planning/reward management, performance management and goal setting, succession planning, employee satisfaction survey etc.
- Supervise Staffing team during higher recruitment periods, ensure scheduling, candidate cares and new hires on-boarding process are executed according to company standards.
- Provide support to client groups by interacting and communicating with employees on duty, visit break rooms to promote positive relations and seek out/resolve potential issues.
- Communicate with department managers to ensure compliance with company policies and employment laws.
- Effectively interface with all levels of the organisation to coordinate and oversee all of the people-related and office management activities.
- Proactively manage HR systems to ensure data integrity. Partner with HRIS on resolving system issues. Partner with Finance on payroll matters.
The Candidate
- Work experience in China required; 10-15 years of HR Generalist and Administration experience in Retail, F&B, Entertainment or Hospitality industry.
- Proven leadership track record managing senior executive relationships and ability to collaborate and build relationships with stakeholders across businesses.
- Demonstrated ability to provide HR leadership and strategic direction.
- High level of confidentiality and excellent organisation skills.
- Pre-opening/Start-up experience required.
- Knowledge of PRC employment laws and HR practices.
- Experience leading mass recruitment and hiring processes across multiple functional areas.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English and Mandarin).
- Superior interpersonal and coaching skills, ability to work well with staff at all levels.
