Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement Retail, F&B and Warehouse policies, procedures and processes; conduct regular reviews as part of continuous process improvement.
- Set budgetary and financial strategies. Ensure achievement of sales, productivity and customer satisfaction targets.
- Manage implementation of relevant POS systems. Set objectives/KPIs to bring efficiency and effectiveness to existing processes.
- Build team spirit and ensure employees are provided with learning and development opportunities. Identify successors and preparing them for career growth.
- Ensure consistent housekeeping standards, merchandise display, food outlet layout and cleanliness, stock replenishment and maintain accurate inventory control.
- Understand sales trend and provide suggestions on how to achieve revenue and per cap growth.
- Keep abreast of developments in the industry, such as changes in legislations, consumer behaviour and competitors activities.
- Support the application of health and safety regulations and risk assessment to ensure a safe environment for employees and the public.
- Exercise good warehouse and inventory management and loss prevention measures.
- Maintain high visibility during operating hours and interact regularly with employees to build relationships and promote teamwork.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth running of operations.
The Candidate
- At least 10 years of retail management experience and demonstrated knowledge of retail and F&B operations in large entertainment complexes, chain supermarkets or leisure theme parks.
- Bachelor Degree in Retail Management, Supply Chain, Catering, Hospitality Management or a relevant discipline.
- Sound business acumen, flexibility in order to cope with the varied demands of the work and the constant need of innovation.
- Leadership quality, ability to delegate, motivate and manage a team of no fewer than 80 staff.
- Excellent communication, time management, planning and organisational skills.
- Possess marketing skills, commercial initiative, good energy and resilience.
- Excellent command in English and Chinese. Mandarin speaking is a must.
