Key Responsibilities
- This is a corporate role responsible for developing, disseminating and maintaining the financial policies, procedures, standards and systems necessary to ensure the management of the company’s financial resources through effective and efficient accounting and disbursement processes.
- Establish a reliable finance control policy and business office management system to safeguard the company’s assets and governance excellence.
- Work with business units to establish finance goals, objectives and indicators, monitor performance and provide coaching when necessary to ensure achievement of such goals.
- Develop and promote business efficiency and a result-driven and customer-oriented corporate culture.
- Conduct monthly finance performance reviews and budget variance analysis. Prepare materials for presentation to the management and the board.
- Perform long term financial planning and analysis; identify risks, opportunities and options to support the attainment of the company’s long term business goals.
- Foster an open and collegial approach to financial and corporate service decision making, build strong relationships with each department.
- Build strong partnerships with different banks, external auditors and tax agencies.
- Report to CFO, Greater China.
The Candidate
- 15 years’ of work experience in Finance and Accounting in a multinational company or Joint-Venture business environment.
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Finance Economics or other business related discipline, MBA preferred.
- At least 5 years’ of leadership and management experience overseeing a team of at least 30 staff.
- JV/M&A project management experience including handling of project financing, due diligence, value analysis, negotiation and integration etc.
- Hold China Accountant/Finance License and good understanding of China accounting tax and legal laws relating to company accounts and submission.
- Strong presentation skills and comfortable presenting at board level.
- Language skills: English and Chinese
