Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting to Managing Director and responsible for setting and attaining profitability target for HK & South China Ocean/Air Freight logistics business development.
  • Strengthen the business relationship with overseas partners, generate sales leads and work together with overseas partners for sales development.
  • Work in collaboration with the HK & South China Ocean/Air Freight department and Sales/CS teams to drive world class processes and solutions at origin to provide visibility of work procedures, process and ensure compliance with corporate policies and procedures, local rules and regulations with the local standards
  • Develop business strategies and to establish new business opportunities to achieve market share and profitability goals
  • Ensure client satisfaction is successfully achieved and company policies adhered to with the goal of maximizing profitability for the company.
  • Improve productivity of staff through efficient work practices and monitoring the implementation of standard operating procedures to comply with specific customer requirements or specific in country regulations.
  • Focusing on highest possible data quality, visibility and usage of CRM.
The Candidate
  • At least 15 years of work experience in a commercial/sales/business development role and 5 years in a management position
  • Bachelor degree in logistics, transportation, international or business preferred.
  • Strong knowledge and background in freight forwarding, logistics, warehouse management and industry technology
  • Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple tasks/projects.
  • Conflict management and problem solver
  • Strong organizational skills (prioritize, plan, assign, collaborate and control)
  • People and team management experience
  • Travel is required
  • Able to effectively communicate and build relationships with customers from all nationalities and are confident in social and business networking situations
  • Have excellent presentation skills and self-motivated.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, detail oriented and excellent customer service skills.
  • Aggressive, Energetic & Presentable
