Key Responsibilities
  • Business partner to the CEO and COO, the CFO is responsible for the financial management of the organisation which will include budget analysis, forecasting needs, accounting and treasury operations, tax and pricing strategies.  In addition, this position will be responsible for the planning, forecasting and analysis of the financial risk-based models related to new services or lines of businesses.
  • Develop and promote a framework to drive financial acumen and accountability across the Company; provide timely and meaningful analyses and reporting to operational leaders.
  • Oversee all financial transactions, prepare and present financial information to the Board of Directors and shareholders of the Company.
  • Oversee long term budgetary planning and cost management in alignment with the strategic plan.
  • Oversee financial internal controls and co-ordination of all financial audits.
  • Manage liquidity, treasury and financing requirements; support potential corporate finance activities in Hong Kong region as and when they arise.
  • Co-develop packaged products, drive pricing and activity based costing; perform competitive pricing analysis.
  • Oversee departments of procurement and IT, and possibly others as and when the need arises.
The Candidate
  • At least 15 years of working experience, with preferably 5 year of demonstrated success in senior financial leadership positions, preferably within the healthcare, pharmaceutical, medical or related industries.
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent. MBA a plus.
  • Able to navigate within a complex environment, and possess excellent problem solving capability and analytical skills.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial models, cashflow projections, pricing strategies, activity-based costing.
  • Strong leadership skills, excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • M&A, JV experience advantageous.
