Key Responsibilities
Business Development
- Explore new business opportunities with the goal to drive awareness and cast a large net to capture potential leads for providing outsourced managed health and medical care services.
- Evaluate and assign sales leads to team members, support the development of written proposals and following RFP processes from start to finish.
- Conduct demos to relevant stakeholders and draft narratives tying proposal components together.
- Meet/contact clients and business partners regularly to build effective and long term relationships.
- Proactively look for opportunities to provide additional value by applying appropriate services to client’s current and future needs.
- Develop proposals for new services as opportunities are identified.
- Prepare and present monthly pipeline reports to executive team.
Marketing
- Responsible for strategic marketing and communications activities.
- Create client facing content and deliverable that articulate the features, benefits, and values to business partners and clients.
- Plan and execute publicity initiatives to drive traffic, engagement and leads, e.g. organise medical events and health talks.
- Involve in procurement and placement of advertising opportunities.
- Prepare and attend trade shows, road shows, conventions, and clinical meetings as required.
Management
- Collect and analyse win/loss and competitive insights and develop brand building and marketing programs to adjust service positioning and improve win rate.
- Collaborate with commercial leadership and HQ marketing to develop/roll-out new initiatives.
- Provide high quality resource support and coaching to sales and marketing team.
The Candidate
- The successful candidate is an experienced business-person who possesses a high degree of initiative, creativity, and business acumen.
- 10-15 years’ experience in marketing medical/health benefits plans and/or extensive knowledge of the healthcare and insurance market.
- An exceptional negotiator who possesses excellent presentation skills and commercial acumen.
- Ability to demonstrate strong solutions and consultative selling skills and a track record of overachieving on budget targets.
- Understanding of B2B marketing and event marketing fundamentals.
- Dedication to high quality customer service delivery and integrity through proven partners and client relationships.
- Experience in healthcare vertical sales or marketing preferred.
- People management experience required.
- Bachelor degree in Marketing, Business or a relevant field.
- Excellent command of English and Chinese.
