• As a Subject Matter Expert responsible for day-to-day delivery of world-class security assessments and consulting for client's travelers, international employees and corporate risk managers
• Research and analyse security intelligence, advise on security issues and provide ongoing updates on current and developing situation
• Monitor, report and escalate evolving security issues and risks on a regional and global scale
• Assess emerging security issues to increase awareness of the security postures at stake
• Design and implement client-specific security training courses and simulation workshops; support key client meetings, marketing events and webinars as required
• Cooperation with colleagues and clients nationally and internationally

• Strong interest in the global political and security landscape
• Strong knowledge of the security risk management and operations best practices and principles
• Experience in geopolitical risk and crisis planning, response and recovery
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both Chinese and English, including ability to explain complex situations and advice to non-expert audiences
• Adaptable and flexible; comfortable with ambiguity; able to work without supervision
• High levels of attention to detail
• Ability to work in a global, cross-cultural context
• Willingness to work outside of normal duty hours, in support of team operations, particularly in times of crisis
• International experience (work and personal) desirable
• Completed studies in a relevant subject (e.g. political science, international relations, risk or security management)
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in security-related field: journalism, relevant field of academia, military, police, government, NGO, or private sector roles
