Key Responsibilities
  • Solidify the organization’s people strategies by utilizing functional expertise to accelerate the development of people and building a strong succession pipeline and an inclusive culture.
  • Deliver existing Development offers and define new initiatives to address business needs for different target groups, such as Talent Pool Programs, Rotation Assignments, Change Workshops, Leadership Activities, etc., meeting budget and timeline expectations.
  • Partner with Group HQ to build an integrated Development roadmap that considers business and capability needs in both current and future states.
  • Play an active role in global functional communities such as Development and Diversity, Equality and Inclusion (DEI) to drive global alignment on relevant topics and support execution of corresponding global projects.
  • Advise and guide operating units in local implementation of global/regional management development and related projects such as succession planning, management evaluation & development, development centres, diversity management, etc.
  • Develop templates and maintain up-to-date records/database/library to support planning and execution of various projects in the region.
  • Produce management reports and presentations with proper data consolidation, analyses and interpretation on regional level.
  • Deliver various HR services for Asia Pacific office such as recruitment or placement, employee orientation, etc.
  • Provide prompt support for ad-hoc projects/requests from global or regional level.
The Candidate
  • University graduate major in Human Resources Management or Social Sciences.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in talent management and organizational development in a multinational company with at least 5 years’ regional exposure.  Good exposure to general HR practices through serving as HR generalist is a plus.
  • Solid conceptual knowledge and practical skills in competency-based HR management and talent management, including competency model, assessment and selection tools, development centres, mentoring and coaching, event facilitation, and etc., preferably with virtual delivery experience for multiple countries.
  • Good understanding of relevant processes/tools/systems for talent management, leadership review and succession planning.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with cultural sensitivity.  A team player who enjoys working in a highly matrix organizational setup with different country requirements and organizational maturity.  
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as good planning and project management skills.  Able to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks with tight schedules with high level of ethics and integrity. 
  • Flexible, adaptive, independent, mature and a fast learner.  
  • Fluency in both spoken and written English and Chinese.  Good command of Mandarin.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Willingness and flexibility to travel.
