Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for all online/offline tourism attraction strategy development and execution with the aim to drive domestic visitors’ numbers.
  • Create marketing and promotional campaigns to boost the destination’s online presence and generate interest from the general public and trade industry.
  • Conceptualise and propose lead generation ideas, format, mediums, channels and timeline. 
  • Create punchy communication messages in line with campaign objective and in accordance with brand story.
  • Create and update seasonal campaign calendar.  Approach channel partners (e.g. private FIT groups, tour agencies, travel bloggers etc.) for cross-exposure and cost sharing opportunities.
  • Take charge of campaign rollout and manage all related activities (e.g. package pricing, tourists logistics, @destination coordination etc.) to ensure the success of the campaigns.
  • Manage campaign budgets.
  • Participate in management meetings and provide feedback and propose improvement actions.
  • Prepare monthly campaign forecast highlighting current and future events.
  • Prepare monthly campaign report capturing results and propose improvement actions.
  • Create, manage and update CRM database.
  • Manage and update social media sites.
The Candidate
  • Entrepreneurial and self-motivated with an excellent drive to succeed.
  • Mature and organised, ability to self-manage as an individual contributor in a start-up environment.
  • Proven track record in tourism/hospitality sales & marketing, have experience developing/managing lead generation and marketing programs, with measurable results.
  • Good understanding of the buyer's journey creation and associated lead generation and content strategy.
  • Proficient in the use of analytics to measure and analyse the effectiveness of lead generation efforts.
  • Diploma/Degree in Tourism, Hospitality, Digital Marketing or eCommerce related discipline.
  • Native Chinese speaker.
Work Location

Guangzhou, China (remote work possible)
