Key Responsibilities
- Overall responsible for the planning and delivery of full spectrum HR activities in the Southeast Asia region.
- Provide guidance and functional leadership to SEA Country HR Managers to ensure local HR operations run smoothly.
- Implement and execute HR strategies in SEA countries according to Global and Regional HR policies and processes.
- Provide business partnering support to leaders to ensure alignment of initiatives and priorities.
- Maintain open and transparent lines of communications, remain current on local employment regulations and labour laws.
- Lead annual performance management cycle and annual salary review for the region.
- Collaborate with Regional Management Development team on training and development initiatives.
- Enhance employee engagement and encourage collaborative and trustworthy culture and relationships.
- Manage end-to-end processes of HR projects rollout and other ad hoc projects or duties as assigned.
The Candidate
- A self-starter with at least 10 years solid experience in Regional HR operations gained from large multi-national organizations with exposure and knowledge in employment market in Southeast Asia region, of which at least 3 years’ experience in managing a virtual team across the Region.
- University graduate major in HRM, Business Administration or Social Sciences.
- A strong team player who enjoys working closely with people under a highly matrix organization and is able to cope well with ambiguity and demonstrates resilience.
- Ability to build good working relationships with all level of staff and to influence and challenge constructively.
- Work well under pressure and possesses strong organization skills with ability to deal with conflicting priorities, manage multiple tasks within tight schedules with high level of ethics & integrity.
- Regional HRIS implementation experience and regional rollout of Global projects/initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, high standard of written and spoken English and Chinese. Knowledge of other Asian languages advantageous.
- Flexible to travel.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
