• Establish and implement departmental policies and procedures in accordance with the company security and loss control requirements.
• Ensure that the processes are in compliance with local regulations pertaining to safety and security, emergency management, loss control and that security programs are in place to support a safe environment, minimize liability, increase cost effectiveness and support the company’s service standards.
• Identify areas of non-compliance in business operation, recommend corrective actions to remedy deficiencies.
• Manage occupational health and safety to reduce accident rates.
• Supervise and coordinate investigations and report of all employee and guest incidents with proper documentation.
• Research new trends in loss control and prevention, gather safety and security statistics, evaluate and recommend preventive measures.
• Coordinate and support workers’ compensation claims and expenses.
• Manage and update the hotel’s Safety Management System.
• Select, hire and train security personnel.

• Possess strong leadership, strategic thinking and problem solving skills.
• At least 10 years of relevant work experience in safety, security and risk management in Asia.
• Experience in crisis incident management and investigation.
• Experience in managing large scale events.
• Ability to network with local authorities and within the security industry.
• Strong communication skills and fluent in English.
