Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for developing the human assets by providing professional training and development services
- Lead Training Department and responsible for establishing a continuous learning and knowledge sharing culture at all levels
- Manage training budget, research course curriculum and appoint external service providers (if required)
- Induct, coach, and mentor new training team members and departmental trainers
- Regularly interact with hotel leaders responsible for people development to ensure individual and functional excellence
- Conduct needs assessments, designs and develops training programs and facilitates the delivery of both custom and corporate training programs
- Measure the effectiveness of training courses to ensure a return on investment
The Candidate
- Excellent grooming standards, strong communication and presentation skills
- Thorough knowledge of modern learning and development tools and technique
- Excellent people management skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop interpersonal relationships
- Positive attitude
- Flexibility to respond to a range of different work situations
- University degree and min. 7 years of service training experience
- Languages: native Japanese; English
