Key Responsibilities
  • Fully accountable for developing and managing all marketing, communications, partners relations, events, advertising and promotions matters across Asia.
  • Forecast and allocate marketing spending, manage budget, maximise resources and monitor ROI.
  • Identify and qualify strategic and tactical marketing opportunities to support growth requirements.
  • Develop relationships, negotiate and communicate with external agencies to maximise creative output and effectiveness of financial investment.
  • Establish long-term partnerships with travel agents, GSAs, airlines, tourism boards, banks, associations and publications etc.
  • Handle digital marketing works, develop and manage web content and ensure alignment of brand across social media platforms and sites.
  • Keep abreast of travel trends, destination news and competitors offerings.
  • Support and assist the Manager in managing, coordinating and executing all other business matters and requirements.
  • Regional travel may be required.
The Candidate
  • Tertiary qualification in marketing or relevant disciplines.
  • Destinations and product marketing experience in the Travel, Hospitality or Tourism industry in Asia
  • Well-developed strategic and tactical marketing skills.
  • Leadership qualities to guide marketing activities and lead projects.
  • Demonstrated ability to create and maintain business relationship with partners, vendors and associates.
  • A strong communicator with outstanding interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Creativity in design and ideas.
  • Able to support change, encourage innovation and new ideas, handle pressure, adjust to meet changing needs, and handle conflict effectively.
  • Knowledge in digital marketing and understanding of mobile technology and how to harness for sales growth.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook & Photoshop.
  • Fluency in CRM tools like SalesForce.com is an advantage.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, which may include some evenings and weekends.
