Key Responsibilities
- Assist department head in the creation and successful implementation of an annual L&D plan.
- Work with department heads to identify employees’ skill gaps and ensure learning objectives are met.
- Design and deliver training programs targeting at enhancing leadership skills and management standards at supervisory and managerial level employees.
- Design and deliver training programs to equip and raise service skill and knowledge of departmental Trainers.
- Select, liaise and manage external vendors and training consultants, ensure the quality of learning deliverables are achieved.
- Proactively promote a continuous learning and knowledge sharing culture throughout the hotel.
- Oversee administrative tasks including cataloging training records and maintaining policies and procedures, ensuring L&D facilities and equipment are well-kept.
- Act as deputy department manager in the absence of Head of Learning & Development.
The Candidate
- 5 years’ relevant experience in a service-oriented organisation, luxury retail or hotel industry.
- Bachelor degree in Human Resources or Training.
- Experienced in developing and delivering supervisory and management level training programs.
- Successes in driving organisational development projects.
- Good verbal and written English and Chinese, Mandarin an advantage.
- Certification from recognized training institutions.
