Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily service operations to ensure that all service staff follow company standards and procedures
- Prepare and follow up with the Food and Beverage revenue budget according to business forecasts
- Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports, budgets and business forecasts
- Check daily maintenance, cleanliness of the restaurant and grooming of staff
- Take care of guests, particularly VIPs and create good relations with them
- Handle complaints and take immediate action for rectification
- Liaise closely with Chef de Cuisine with regards to food quality or presentation and plan menus and special menus requested by guests
- Ensure restaurant operation in full compliance with all safety and HACCP requirements
- Oversee wine list compilation and inventory control
- Provide on-the-job training to staff members
The Candidate
- Relevant fine dining experience (Michelin restaurant experience preferred)
- Excellent knowledge of French food and wine
- Fluent in French & English
- Computer literacy
- Skilled at handling complaints and comments tactfully
- Good sense of Marketing strategies, cost control & budgeting
- Must be professional and possess excellent communication and organization skills
- People management experience, including recruiting, training and performance managing team members
