Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the overall maintenance and management of the premise’s facilities.
- Supervise multi-disciplinary teams of staff including cleaning, maintenance, carpenters and technicians.
- Inspect buildings’ structures to determine the need for repairs or renovations, inspect and monitor repair and construction work progress.
- Perform building management tasks for entire premise and ensure that basic facilities, such as water, air-conditioning are well-maintained.
- Manage the upkeep of equipment and supplies to meet health and safety standards.
- Liaise with external contractors as required and monitor tasks assigned.
- Support Facilities Director on future work project planning, insurance plans/service contracts management and personnel assignment.
The Candidate
- Degree/Diploma in Facility Management or relevant discipline.
- Comprehensive background and technical understanding of building service maintenance and facility management and related regulatory requirements and practices.
- Min. 10 years of relevant work experience and at least 5 in a supervisory position.
- Strong organizational and time management skills; ability to prioritize work.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and lead teams to achieve desired results.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to effectively communicate with diverse community members (proficient in English and Cantonese).
